After a three-year lockdown, Macao Tourism needed to rebuild brand awareness and reconnect with both business and leisure travellers. The challenge was to reintroduce the city as a vibrant, culturally rich destination, while reassuring visitors it was ready to welcome them once again. I created an immersive interactive microsite, complete with a custom quiz that tailors the user journey based on personal interests—whether cultural, culinary, or natural. The goal was to create a more engaging and personal experience that would appeal to a wide range of travellers. Throughout the site, we collaborated with local artists, chefs, musicians and mixologists whose stories bring the character of Macao to life. Their voices and insights guide users through each section, creating a connection that feels genuine and rooted in the culture of the city. This project combined thoughtful UX, responsive design and rich storytelling to help reposition Macao as a destination full of colour, creativity and unique experiences.
